SO I had to flip it over (again) and try and match up the cuts. Anything you can ask of a Whites Boot it can perform. and I did THAT wrong (again) and it hit the I-beam 1/2 way through the cut. The Whites legacy is a boot inspired by the men and women who will wear it tough, determined, and proud. So I set up the saw to re-cut the stretched metal. just forgot about the angle making the pieces LONGER. I had thought of building a metal stand on wheels for it but really like the idea of an old wooden 'stump' that would help keep it quite. It is fairly large with a 6 inch by 13 inch mounting base. Step 2: Crunching the Numbers The next step was to subtract out the height of all the materials. I adopted an anvil off Craigslist some time ago and it has been setting in the shop floor wanting for a real resting place. In my case the top of the anvil should set at 29.5'. Youll find a broad assortment suitable for every project from bar clamps, to c-clamps, to bench vises and anvils. ![]() Had added a support to hold the overhand of the I-beam (had to) Here's one thing that I did - with SkecthUp to help with my compound angles. there is a very small piece of metal in the very center of this pic to show the alignment. Not too shabby on the cut alignment either.
